Mark 13:14-19 reads:  “When you see the abomination that causes desolation standing where it does not belong- let the reader understand- then those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.  Let no one on the roof of his house go down or enter the house to take anything out.  Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak.  How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers!  Pray that this will not take place in winter, because those will be days of distress unequaled from the beginning, when God created the world, until now- and never to be equaled again.”

Have you prayed that this flight will not take place in winter or on Sabbath like Jesus told you to?  Have you prayed for pregnant women and nursing mothers?  Wouldn’t you want righteous brothers and sisters sending up effectual, fervent prayers to our Father for you if you were one of God’s servants who were left behind in this evil day?  Have you thought about the fact that many of our brothers and sisters will have to run for their very lives without food, shelter or clothing (not to mention other necessary supplies- coats, blankets, lighters, flashlights, etc.)?  The time that this flight will take place could be very cold, rainy, and snowy.  Many could freeze to death.  Some women could be pregnant, and may have to have their babies on this journey.  Take some time out to pray for their flight now.
